- If your bilge has large amounts of debris, particulates, oil or petroleum, please reach out to us before purchasing so we can make sure our product will work best for your bilge environment.
- Caution: Excessive pumping of oil, diesel or fuel will cause the pump diaphragm and rubber valves to swell and lead to pump failure. If you know you pumped petroleum-based liquids, immediately rinse with Dawn dish soap to help prevent permanent pump damage.
- If you have a boat with a very deep “V” bilge, please be aware that our low-profile bilge water pickups may not fit appropriately in such a sharp-angled area.
